Police are appealing for potential witnesses and victims following a series of linked sexual assaults near Brent Cross Station.
Between Saturday, 3 August and Tuesday, 6 August several sexual assaults were reported to police. Officers suspect that the same man was responsible for all the assaults.
On three separate occasions, the suspect approached women and sexually assaulted them over their clothing.
On Tuesday, 6 August a fourth victim came forward to police stating that she was sexually assaulted.
Detective Inspector Neal Heffernan who is leading the investigation said: “We already have arrested and charged a suspect however, it is possible that the suspect could have assaulted other women who are yet to come forward.
“Please don’t feel like any incident is too small. We need the courage of the victims to report to us in these matters so we can make sure their attackers are stopped and prevented from further harassing and assaulting women.
“If you frequent Brent Cross station and have been assaulted or seen anyone being assaulted by the man in the photo, described as a black male, wearing a black tracksuit and balaclava and was seen to be riding a lime bike, then please come forward to us.”
The suspect has now been charged with four counts of sexual assault, one count of kidnap with intent to commit a sexual offence, exposure and causing another to engage in sexual activity without consent.
He was remanded to appear at Willesden Magistrates on Friday, 9 August for his first appearance and has now been remanded to appear at Harrow Crown court on Friday, 6 September.
