Detectives investigating the murder of Shea Gordon in Tower Hamlets are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to contact them.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers, of the Met’s Specialist Crime Command is leading the investigation. He said: “I would ask anyone who witnessed this incident or may have information that could help our investigation to please get in contact with us and share what you know.

“Shea’s family are being supported as they try to come to terms with their loss. If you know anything about what happened to Shea that night, do the right thing and get in touch.”

Shortly after midnight on Sunday, 4 September 2022, police were called to reports of a disturbance involving a large number of people in Lichfield Road, E3.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found Shea, aged 17, with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where he died a short time later.

Shea’s family continue to be supported by detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
