A serving officer has been charged with outraging public decency.

DC Dariusz Alexander, 48, attached to the Met Operations Command, was charged via postal charge requisition and will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 20 April.

The charge relates to an off duty incident on Hampstead Heath.

The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards is aware and the officer has been suspended from duty.

A referral has been made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
