An investigation is ongoing following a fatal collision in Lambeth.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 22:49hrs on Monday, 20 March to Wandsworth Road SW8 following reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
A man, aged in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
The driver of the car did not stop at the scene. Urgent enquiries to trace it are ongoing.
Road closures and a crime scene are in place.
