Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a train between Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket.
On 12 March, on the 8.40pm service to Helensburgh Central, a man assaulted a passenger on the train. The victim sustained cuts to his legs, bruising to his ribs and face, and cuts to his face which required treatment at hospital.
