Appeal for witnesses following an incident on a train – Glasgow

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an incident onboard a train between Edinburgh Waverley and Glasgow Central.

On 13 April, at around 7pm, between Shotts and Carfin, a woman was on the train when a group of teenagers made offensive comments towards her. When the woman challenged them, one of the teenagers spat at her.  

He then left the train at Carfin Station.

He is described as white, a slim build with short light brown hair. He was wearing a black puffer jacket with white Hoodrich logos, a grey zipper with a dark hood and yellow Nike logo, dark jogging bottoms and black/white trainers.
