Witness appeal following a hate crime towards rail staff – Inverness

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a hate crime at Inverness station.  
The incident happened at around 9.40am on Monday 12 June near the gate line at platforms three and four. 
The victim, a member of rail staff, was advising the suspect on cancelled services and alternative travel options when the man began using racist language towards him.
The suspect is described as being a white man, aged around 62-years-old, about 5’10” with a heavy build, short grey hair and thick glasses. 
Several witnesses approached the victim after the incident to check they were okay. Officers are hoping to hear from these witnesses, or anyone else with information that may help their investigation.
