Do you recognise this man?
Detectives investigating a sexual assault onboard a Birmingham train are today releasing this image in connection.
At around 8pm on Saturday 17 June, a 22-year-old woman was travelling onboard the 6.33pm Stockport to Birmingham train. A man boarded the service at Stafford and stared at the woman during the journey.
On arriving into Birmingham New Street Railway Station the woman stood in the vestibule to disembark. The man stood behind her and sexually assaulted her. He then followed her from the train repeatedly offering to help her with her luggage.
Detectives would like to speak to the man in the image who they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
